What does it mean to be a "member"? How do I become one?
Membership is the term we use when someone wants to officially become a part of our church family. In contrast to this, we refer to those who are a part of our community who aren't members "friends". Friends and members have the some of the same opportunities: worship services & social events are all entirely open to both groups, including small group ministries & communion services; and both groups are able to get involved in various ministries in our community. There are some natural distinctions between the two groups as well, as only members have the opportunity to: vote in official church business issues; hold certain church offices (such as elder, deacons/deaconesses, and department directors);
